Eastbourne at the 3* Mansion Lions Hotel, on the seafront
Eastbourne’s elegant seafront is a joy to behold and the 3* Mansion Lions Hotel overlooks the aptly named Grand Parade. Ideally situated on the sea front and close to shopping centres and theatres of Eastbourne, this break offers a super selection of things to do on your summer holiday.
Day 1: After joining your holiday coach we travel south to Royal Tunbridge Wells. We have free time here to explore before continuing on to our chosen resort.
Day 2: Free day in resort.
Day 3: After breakfast we make the short journey to Beachy Head with panoramic views across the channel. From here we travel up the Cuckmere Valley to the picture postcard village of Alfriston with its ancient inns and home to the first every property bought by the National Trust, Clergyhouse.
Day 4: This morning we travel to historic Rye. Steeped in maritime history with quaint cobbled streets with many historic buildings.
Day 5: Our journey today takes us to the cathedral city of Chichester, with time to explore before mid afternoon.
Day 6: Today’s journey takes us to the Battle of Hastings location. Visit the Abbey, Yester Years museum, then on to Hastings. Explore the medieval old town and spot locations from the TV series Foyles War.
Day 7: We travel home, arriving late afternoon. |

This famous resort in North Yorkshire is our excellently situated base for an exploration of the glorious seaside resorts of Filey, Flamborough, Scarborough and Whitby and the historical city of York. Taking views of the moors, the stunning coast line, excursions and a little retail therapy, this trip has something for everyone!
Day 1: We travel via the Humber Bridge to arrive at our chosen resort of Bridlington. Regular stops will be made en-route for your comfort and we expect to arrive at our hotel med afternoon.
Day 2: Today we make the short journey to the Victorian resort of Filey. After free time here we make our way to Flamborough.
Day 3: Today is a free day in resort.
Day 4: Today we travel into the Yorkshire Moors home of Hearbeat the renowned TV programme. We visit Pickering where you join your included rail journey to Goathland(Aidensfield). After free time here we travel on to Whitby home to Bram Stokers Dracula.
Day 5: We make our way north to the premier resort of Scarborough for a full day visit to the home of the seaside holiday.
Day 6: Today’s short excursion takes us down to the Hornsea Freeport for a half day retail therapy.
Day 7: On our way home we stop in the grand old city of York for free time before continuing homeward. |

Military Tattoo

Since 1950 the Edingburgh Military Tattoo has been an exciting event drawing crowds of thousands to see and hear the music of the pipes and drums of the Scottish regiments and the marching of the Massed Military bands. This trip is the perfect trip to enjoy the amazing tattoo in its full glory while also relaxing in comfort and style.
Day 1: We travel north through England into Scotland arriving at our hotel late afternoon, where we will enjoy our evening meal. The Rob Roy Hotel where we stay, is just outside of Aberfoyle, the gateway to the Trossachs.
Day 2: Enjoy your hearty Scottish breakfast before we journey to Edingburgh for a full day in the city including the trip to the spectacular tattoo. Today is based on a bed & breakfast only.
Day 3: After a leisurely breakfast we travel today to the roayl city of Stirling with its imposing castle and monuments to William Wallace, combined with a pedestrianised centre it has something for everyone. we return later to our hotel for our evening meal.
Day 4: Today we travel homeward stopping en-route for your comfort and arriving back in our local area early evening. |

A trip around the lochs and outstanding Isle of Bute, taking in the marvellous waterside views from the base of the loch side resort of Dunoon, set in Scotland’s first National Park.

Day 1: After our local morning pick ups we travel north to the Glasgow area to catch our ferry across to Dunoon arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: A day for you to relax and enjoy Dunoon.
Day 3: Today’s journey takes us to Colintraive and then via a short ferry to the Isle of Bute. We continue on to its capital Rothesay one of the Clyde’s most famous resorts which also boasts a fine castle.
Day 4: Today’s excursion tkaes us around Loch Eck and the upper beaches of Loch Fyne over the best and thankful pass to Lochgoilhead a small village the head of the loch. Later we travel to Inveraray on the western shore with its jail and castle attractions.
Day 5: A delightful half day tour to explore the area around Dunoon. Visiting Inellan and toward Kilmun Church and Strone.
Day 6: Today we must leave our idyllic surroundings and travel homeward. |

Day 2: A free day to enjoy the sights and sounds of the UK’s premier seaside resort, Blackpool.
Day 3: Today after breakfast we travel into Lancaster the reowned University City for free time. Early afternoon we return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner.

Day 2: We make the short journey after breakfast into Bath where we have the option of a guided coach tour of the City of Bath (Tour £5.00 approx). The tour concludes in the city centre where you ill then have free time to wander around the Christmas market stalls and the city itself before returning to our hotel in time to refresh before dinner.

We depart our local area and travel to Swindon via the stunning scenery of the Cotswolds. Arriving at our hotel mid afternoon you can be assured of a warm reception from the hotel and its staff as afternoon tea is served. Later gather around the Christmas tree for pre- dinner drinks before sitting down to enjoy this evenings dinner followed by an evenings entertainment.
Christmas eve: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before joining the coach for the short jounrey to the city of Bath. This elegant city is a world heritage site and is home to many famous people from stage and screen. You stay on board your coach for an included city tour with a professional guide before disembarking for free time within the city. We depart Bath and return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner and your evening entertainment.
Christmas Day: Its Christmas Day have you been good?! Start your day with a heart breakfast before relaxing in the lounge or take advnatge of the games room. Christmas dinner is served a traditional Dinner including a free glass of Wine or soft drink, after – which join us at 3pm for the Queens speech and afternoon tea with Christmas cake. In the evening a buffet dinner will be served followed by a fun quiz night.
Boxing Day:Today is Boxing Day this morning enjoying a stroll around the city centre after your full English breakfast returning in time for a light buffet lunch?After lunch a matinee pantomime in Swindon has been arranged for your enjoyment. Tonight’s dinner will be followed by an evening’s entertainment.
Monday 27th Dec: Today sadly we must return home. Start your day with a full English breakfast before we depart our hotel. We depart mid morning and travel via the Vale of the White Horse to the city of dreaming spires Oxford. On arrival you will be dropped in the city centre for free time to explore this enchanting location before rejoining the coach for the final part of the journey home. |
